Geordie hits WA's shore
One of the former stars of MTV's popular reality series Geordie Shore will set foot in *WA * next week.
Jay Gardner is set to appear at Metropolis Fremantle next Wednesday, where he will meet and greet local fans while doing his first-ever DJ set.
The buff Brit, below, has been a part of the UK series - which is a British adaptation of the original and now defunct US series, Jersey Shore - since its inception three years ago, but in July announced he was leaving.
"I really enjoyed being part of the Geordie Shore family but now it's time for me to concentrate on my relationship," he told MTV in July. "I have a serious girlfriend now and want to spend time with her".
Gardner's final episode of the Newcastle-based show aired in the third season but he has also revealed plans to head up his own show in the near future, tweeting: "I'm excited about my new TV Show!! Stay Tuned."
Series four of Geordie Shore is currently screening on MTV on Foxtel, with a fifth season set to air in February.
