After years of dating in Perth, all that publishing student Tegan Cox wants is a man who showers and doesn’t have a secret girlfriend or wife.

“My standards aren’t high at all,” the 26-year-old joked toAAA .

“In the past year I’ve dated five people who had girlfriends or partners that I only discovered once I did some crazy Facebook stalking.

“One was married, one had a fiancee, one was about to propose and the other two had girlfriends.”

So with nothing to lose, Cox is one of 200 singles, wingmen and wingwomen heading along to hit92.9’s Tinderella Plus Party at’s'''''' tomorrow night, which is pegged as a real-life version of popular dating app Tinder.

Business owner Matt Visser is also going to what will be Perth’s biggest singles party and will be looking for a “solid 8.5” who can hold a conversation without awkward silences.

Like Cox, the 29-year-old has turned to Tinder after having trouble on the dating scene.

“It’s not that easy to meet someone in a nightclub these days,” Visser said.

“If there are single girls there, there’s usually 10 of them in a circle so you’ve got to have pretty big courage to walk up to 10 of them.”

Visser hoped the en masse approach of hit92.9’s second annual Tinder party would at least be a good night.

“I just like (Tinder) because there’s endless possibilities, you never know who you’re going to meet on there,” he said.

“I’m just after a good night I suppose, a fun night out with everybody being single.”
