N *icole Trunfio *will step out next week in her first public outing since announcing her pregnancy. The *Australind *-raised model will walk the black carpet at the annual GQ Men of the Year Awards in Sydney on November 19 alongside her Paper Planes co-star *Sam Worthington *and visiting celeb *Dave Franco *.

Yesterday, Trunfio shared a first look at her enviable engagement ring. Just days after she and musician partner *Gary Clark Jr *revealed they were engaged and expecting their first child together, which is due in January, the 28-year-old provided a glimpse of the three-carat rock she received.

Trunfio posted a close-up image of her left hand to her Instagram, with the very large but elegant pear-shaped sparkler, which she designed, glinting on her ring finger.

"flawless ?? nofilter ivebeenwakinguplikedis," she captioned the shot, left.

Trunfio found out she was expecting when she was visiting her good friend, *Perth *- raised model *Gemma Ward *in Sydney.

"I was actually visiting Gemma and Lettsy (Ward and her partner *David Letts *) at Avalon (north of Sydney)," Trunfio told Who magazine.

"I was taking (pregnancy) tests at the time because I just had a feeling, but they kept saying no and I was like 'What?' I gave it a

few more days and Gemma was like 'Take another one!'

"When I walked out of the bathroom I was just going to keep it on the DL and tell Gary first, but Gemma was like 'I know', because I was so happy. Something like that, you can't contain it!"

Trunfio managed to hide her pregnancy until her big reveal last week but she set chins wagging when she stepped out in late September with a bigger bust size, top left.

"These (breasts) were a dead giveaway. Everyone was like 'You've had breast implants'," she said. "I'm like 'OK, I'll take that'.

"As long as I can keep my secret."
