Sunrise shines on sexy Justin

He is one of the world's most successful recording artists yet he rarely does interviews.

However, Justin Timberlake will open up his secret world to Australian viewers when he appears on Sunrise this week in a world exclusive.

In what is reportedly the only interview the pop star has done for his latest album, The 20/20 Experience, he sat down with the Seven show's co-host Samantha Armytage in Las Vegas recently.

After a backstage tour, Armytage revealed to Timberlake that his hit Sexy Back was her favourite song of his - so much so that her new TV series Bringing Sexy Back is party named after the tune.

"Oh really . . . I don't know what the rules are in Australia but I'm sure I could try to come after you," the singer joked.

Armytage replied with a laugh: "I may owe you some money, I'll see if I've got my wallet," to which Timberlake said he would let it slide this time.

Armytage later watched Timberlake in action during his concert and said she was impressed by his knowledge and passion for the music industry.

"I was blown away by his raw talent and the fact he plays instruments as well makes him even more sexy," she gushed.

"The dancers were absolutely fabulous. They even taught me a move - thankfully they kept it simple.

"The venue was huge - I can't believe he doesn't more nervous playing to all those people. But he makes every single person in every seat feel so special and constantly entertained."

The Timberlake interview will air throughout the week on Sunrise and will coincide with the show's US road trip.

Presenters David Koch, Armytage, Mark Beretta and Edwina Bartholomew are broadcasting from locations including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York from today.

Timberlake will bring his 20/20 Experience world tour to Perth Arena on October 8 and 9.
