He may have left his breakfast post at 92.9 but popular media personality Basil Zempilas is set to return to the airwaves alongside 6PR stalwart Steve 'Millsy' Mills.
It has been announced today that the Channel Seven sports presenter will join Millsy to host the station's weekday breakfast segment.
Zempilas hosted the 6PR breakfast slot alongside Adrian 'Barra' Barich prior to his time at 92.9.
While Zempilas will continue to juggle his TV duties with his newfound radio role, he said he looked forward to getting back onto the airwaves.
"It's the right time and 6PR is the right place," he said. "It's my style of radio and Steve Mills is my sort of guy."
Breakfast with Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas will kick off from January next year.
Along with the new look breakfast show, 6PR has also recruited West Australian journalist Gary Adshead to take over the morning shift while Paul Murray, who is currently on mornings, will take over the drive shift.
