Bunbury agent to talk success with Arnie
BUNBURY real estate agent Jay Standley will co-headline an event with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Mr Standley was handpicked to speak about his career at the Queensland Real Estate Agents Summit in Brisbane next month.
"It's humbling to be working alongside a man with such an international standing," he said.
"I am very excited at the opportunity to be speaking on the international stage with a legend such as Arnie."
Organiser and real estate coach Glenn Twiddle selected Mr Standley as one of 10 agents to speak at the event.
Mr Standley has been named as REIWA's top-selling agent in the State for the past six years.
"Jay is a peak performer within the real estate industry of WA, no one in this country can serve as many people as Jay does," Mr Twiddle said.
"We can't wait for Jay to teach other agents what some would describe as the impossible.
"He has so much to teach the industry about performing at peak levels consistently."
Mr Twiddle said Schwarzenegger's successes as a bodybuilder, actor and politician made him an ideal headline act alongside the agents.
"There is no other human being on this planet that can boast being the world's best in three completely separate industries."
Mr Standley said he would get the opportunity to meet and socialise with Schwarzenegger, which he was "really looking forward to".
"I have seen some of his movies, the old classic Terminator to Kindergarten Cop," he said.
"I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of his movies but that's not to say that I don't appreciate his work."
