Vandals kill school chickens

Vandals smashed windows, stole property and spraypainted student’s chickens – some of which have since died – at a northern suburbs primary school.

Police are investigating the break-in at Quinns Beach Primary School, believed to have taken place between 7am and 5.45pm on Sunday.

Pupils' work was destroyed along with Christmas decorations.

Police are asking the public to come forward with any information to catch those responsible.

“The offenders would probably be the type to boast to their small circle of friends of their handiwork,” a post on the WA Police North West Metro team’s Facebook page said.

“Please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 … do not allow idiots in our community to get away with destroying our kids’ future.”
