Teenagers charged after raid
Police have charged two teenage girls after a handgun, an allegedly stolen motorbike, drugs and thousands of dollars in cash were seized during a raid at a Malaga industrial unit early yesterday.
The search, conducted by officers from the east metropolitan district crime team, was carried out at the Cusack Road property about 5am.
Police found a revolver, about $8000 in cash and a Ducati motorbike alleged to be stolen.
The two girls, aged 17 and 18, were yesterday charged with various offences relating to the seized items.
