Woman hit by city bus

A woman is in a serious condition after she was hit by a bus in the CBD this afternoon.

The woman was hit by the bus at about 4.30pm on William Street near the Murray Street intersection.

She was taken by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital and is understood to have serious, but not life threatening, injuries.

Local police will investigate what caused the accident.
