Heigl denies 'difficult' actress label

Katherine Heigl doesn't see herself as a "difficult" actress.

The former Grey's Anatomy actress , who was previously accused of causing "desperately difficult situations" on the set of her 2010 movie Life As We Know It, insists she and her mother *Nancy *Heigl, who is also her manager, conduct themselves "professionally and respectfully" in Hollywood.

Asked about her bad reputation, the 35-year-old said: "I can't really speak to that. I can only say that I certainly don't see myself as being difficult. I would never intend to be difficult. I don't think my mother sees herself as being difficult. We always ... I think it's important to everybody to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully and kindly."

"If I've ever disappointed somebody, it was never intentional," she added.

A well-placed insider claimed last year that Heigl and her mother were hard to work with, saying: "I have never experienced anything like Nancy Heigl. It's about the mouth. 'F..k you. You are a f..king liar.' Whatever you'd say, you were an idiot."

Another source from Heigl's 2008 movie 27 Dresses backed up the accusations, adding: "There were movie-star demands -- big rooms, the mother there, all the stuff . . . It was just a sense of entitlement. The biggest stars don't do that kind of thing."
