Man dies in South Coast car roll over

A serious crash in the South Coast region has left a 55-year-old Thai man dead and four people in hospital with serious injuries.

The car was travelling along Cascade Road, in isolated bushland north of Ravensthorpe, when it rolled over around 7.15pm yesterday.

Volunteer firefighters from Ravensthorpe managed to free four passengers - all Thai nationals - from the car, but a man died at the scene.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said two of the passengers were taken to Esperance Hospital and two to Ravensthorpe, both in serious conditions.

Police are investigating.
