Dane regrets filming threesome with wife
Actor Eric Dane regrets capturing his infamous threesome with his wife Rebecca Gayheart and a former beauty queen on camera, insisting the steamy encounter was a "mistake".
Private video footage of the actors frolicking nude with former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche leaked on the internet in 2009, prompting Dane and Gayheart to successfully sue bosses at Gawker.com for unlawfully publishing the film.
They claimed Gawker.com "maliciously" distributed the video.
Now the former Grey's Anatomy hunk has opened up about the incident, insisting he should never have put his wife of 10 years in such a position.
"It was a mistake," he tells People magazine.
"We've all made mistakes. My one regret is that I got the person I love most wrapped up in all that: Rebecca. But we worked through it and put it behind us.
"We have two beautiful kids and our marriage is stronger than ever."
The stars are parents to daughters Billie, four, and Georgia, two.
