Chloe's tasty NY wedding

Now that her lucrative magazine deal is out of the bag, My Kitchen Rules WA grand finalist Chloe James has shared an insight into her fairytale wedding in New York.

The TV cook, who finished runner-up with friend Kelly Ramsay on the Seven show earlier this year, wed high-school sweetheart Luca Pietropiccolo in the Big Apple a fortnight ago.

Despite recounting her adventures around Manhattan in the lead-up to the event via Instagram, James was reportedly banned from sharing any snaps of her big day with fans until a feature on the wedding was published in Woman's Day earlier this week.

Though it is unknown how much the 28-year-old pocketed from the sale of the photos, sources told AAA there was a bidding war over the pictures from a number of weekly gossip magazines after James' controversial run on the reality cooking contest.

The brunette has now posted an intimate snap to her Instagram account showing James, Pietropiccolo, Ramsay and other members of the bridal party laughing on a bridge shortly after the ceremony, the famous city skyline visible in the background.

James looked statuesque in a form-fitting lace Galleria Couture gown paired with a long veil, while the bridesmaids donned black Grecian- style dresses and carried crimson peonies.

Just 30 guests, including Tasmanian MKR team Thalia Papadakis and Bianca Johnston, attended the lavish nuptials at a historic Catholic church, which was followed by a reception at the New York Palace hotel where they dined on a degustation menu planned by James.

She previously told AAA that organising the wedding while appearing on MKR was "full on".

"It's hard enough to plan a wedding anyway, never mind it being on the other side of the world," she said.

James, who has eight-year-old son Dylan from a previous relationship, is now back in Perth after enjoying a week's honeymoon in Los Angeles.

James was reportedly banned from sharing any snaps of her big day with fans until a feature on the wedding was published in Woman's Day earlier this week.
