Flynn's starring role
O *rlando Bloom *had a special date by his side for the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week - three-year-old son *Flynn *.
The youngster, whose mother is Bloom's estranged wife *Miranda Kerr *, cuddled up to his famous dad at the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday, where he helped hold the rope surrounding the star display and proudly clutched a smaller version of Bloom's accolade for photographs.
Though Kerr was not present for the proceedings - she is in Tokyo to fulfill duties as a brand ambassador for Reebok - the Lord of the Rings actor thanked his former partner for giving him the best gift in the world in Flynn.
During his speech, Bloom said his son was "the real star in my life" and likened Hollywood to a "mythical place", as his parents *Sonia * and *Colin Stone *watched on from the sidelines.
Guest speakers at the event included *Forest Whitaker *, his Zulu co-star, and Romeo and Juliet director *David Leveaux *, who praised the Englishman's dedication to his craft.
