WA has a new Lotto millionaire after a Division 1 Lotto ticket worth $1,013,557 was sold in Madeley at the weekend.

The winning ticket was sold at Kingsway City Lottery Centre.

Owner Doug Culmer said he was very happy to have cracked Division 1 Lotto luck in the first five months of owning the outlet.

"To have sold a big winner like this in just five months is fantastic. It was a lovely surprise and we have had lots of our customers checking their tickets to see if they might be holding the winner. I know it wasn't me though, as the first thing I did was check my tickets from the draw," Mr Culmer said.

The weekend winning ticket brings the tally of WA Division 1 winners in WA so far this year to 14.

These winners have shared in more than $13 million worth of prizes. Lotterywest is still waiting to hear from WA's newest millionaire.

Meanwhile, a $1,042,666 Saturday Lotto ticket sold in Alexander Heights last weekend is still waiting to be claimed.

It was the second Division 1 ticket sold at Heights Lottery Centre and News in just two months.
