Star midfielder Nat Fyfe was again absent from Fremantle training this morning after missing last week’s NAB Challenge win over the Western Bulldogs.

The reigning club champion didn’t train last week prior to the Dockers flying to Melbourne, and was later ruled out of the game with a corked leg.

Fyfe was the major absentee today as close to a full squad was put through their paces at Fremantle Oval ahead of Thursday’s practise match against West Coast at Patersons Stadium.

Fyfe was named in the 27-man squad for the game this morning.

Free agency recruit Colin Sylvia wasn’t named but trained with the main group, while feisty small forward Hayden Ballantyne did a light program away from his teammates before leaving the track early.

Young ruckman Zac Clarke looks a fair way off the pace.

He briefly stepped out of the rooms but wasn’t moving freely and was clearly favouring his injured right knee.

Kepler Bradley jogged laps but also looks to have some work to do to be ready for AFL level.

Anthony Morabito trained strongly alongside his teammates as he continues his build up to a return to football after three knee reconstructions.

A slimmed-down Garrick Ibbotson is also training with the main group but has already been ruled out of round one on March 14 against Collingwood.
