CCTV footage shows the worker provided the man with his change in cash, and he then grabs at her and attempts to zip-tie her extended arm, with the cash scattering to the ground. It is believed the man was trying to drag the woman over the counter and into his car.

Thankfully, the woman was able to free herself and slammed the drive-thru window shut, creating a physical barrier between herself and the man before he sped off.

Community rally to find perpetrator

The CCTV camera aimed at the drive-thru window caught the entire scene and has been crucial to helping police find the man responsible. The Auburn Washington Police Department posted a tweet that included the footage, appealing to anyone in the community who could help identify the man from his unique tattoo. It appears the man has "Chevrolet" tattooed on his left forearm.

Auburn Police Department said the response from the local community helped them make an arrest.

"After overwhelming support from the community, APD has arrested a suspect in this case," the department tweeted.
