Shocking video shows woman appearing to smoke ice with child in the car

WARNING – DISTRESSING CONTENT: A Gold Coast home has been raided and charges laid after distressing footage of a young woman appearing to smoke a glass pipe in front of a child emerged online.

Vision of the incident which began circulating on Facebook shows the woman hop into the vehicle, wind up the window and start smoking what appears to be the drug ice.

As she talks to the male occupant out of the camera’s sight, a small child sitting within arm’s reach can be heard asking: “Where’s my dad? Where’s my daddy gone?”

Over the next several minutes, the woman appears to continue to smoke from the pipe several times, eventually opening the passenger window.

“Police executed a search warrant on a Gold Coast residence on February 7, 2019 in relation to video footage published online depicting a woman engaged in alleged drug use,” the spokesperson said.

They said as a result of seizing a number of items during the search, one woman was charged with one count of unlawful possession of a dangerous drug, identified as Xanax.
