The star was working at the Randwick Race Spring Carnival Epsom Day for Seven Racing.
Samantha opted for a $1350 Mackenzie Mode luxury maxi dress made from silk. Called ‘The Rainforest Maxi’, the outfit has a ruffle trim with an elegant high neck.
Covered in green teal ferns, striking floral pattern, bright flamingos and peacocks, the star certainly stood out.
With a billowy sleeve and flared silhouette, Samantha chose to finish her look off with a lilac Nerida Winter headband.
The star also wore simple purple heels and kept her makeup light and natural.
The former Sunrise host shared snaps of her gorgeous look on Instagram, and racked up almost 10,000 likes.
Her celebrity friends were enamoured by the unique look, with Seven reporter Kate Waterhouse saying she looked ‘stunning’.
“Beautiful dress!!” Sky News reporter Peta Credlin said, while TV presenter Jessica Rowe added: “DIVINE”.
“Loved watching you today! Natural habitat!” Seven reporter Kendall Gilding commented.
Samantha’s fans also fawned over her dress, with one saying it was ‘a whole new level’.
“LOVE this dress. You look gorgeous,” a fan wrote.
“Sam this dress is out of this world. You look amazing,” added a second.
“The best dress you have ever worn,” another claimed.
“The dress just amplified your beauty inside and out. Please wear more from this designer, so beautiful,” a fourth chimed in.
While the majority of comments were overwhelmingly positive, there were some fans who hated her outfit.
“That’s bloody horrible,” a fan wrote, while another compared it to “Granny’s curtains”.
“Looks like I’m the only one who hates that dress lol,” admitted another.
“Sorry not liking the outfit, I’ve seen you in better,” a third chimed in.
"Yeah that’s a NO from me,” another remarked.
