The glaring error on Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony tickets – but can you spot it?

Commonwealth Games organisers have found themselves in hot water over a serious ticket blunder.

The mistake has left organisers red-faced, and spectators said the error has created a lot of confusion so close to the event.

More than 14,000 tickets sent out for the opening ceremony were printed with the wrong day.

The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games kick-off on April 4 which is a Wednesday.

But the tickets incorrectly show the ceremony taking place on a Thursday.

The tickets will not be reprinted and organisers said they are valid. Organisers said human error was behind the mistake.

According to Fairfax, the remaining 21,000 tickets for the opening ceremony have been corrected after the error was detected.
