WATCH: Tradie uses bare hands to save kangaroo trapped in trench

In what is sure to be the most Australian thing you’ll watch today, an irrigation worker has used his bare hands to save the life of a baby kangaroo.

Fritz White was working on a trench in Goondiwindi, Queensland when he and his colleagues discovered the helpless roo laying flat on his back inside.

Rather than destroying a perfectly sound trench, Mr White grabbed the roo by its paws and began shuffling him out.

After a minute of rigorous pulling, the roo returned to its feet, standing perfectly still for a moment.

As if it wasn't Australian enough, Mr White then gave a 'That's Gold' hand gesture at the stunned roo before it set off in the distance.

Sharing his own handywork to Facebook, Mr White captioned the incredible footage “hey bro, is those hunters gone yet. And by the way, help me out of here”.
