P-plater's bizarre excuse for speeding at 170km/h with smashed windscreen
A driver behind the wheel of a car doing 170km/h with two bald tyres and a smashed windscreen presented officers with a bizarre excuse when he was pulled over.
The P-plater was speeding down the Western Ring Road in Moonee Valley, west of Melbourne, on Friday night when police signalled him to pull over.
When officers from Moonee Valley Police Service Area asked him why he was driving so fast, he told them it was because he was “busting for poo”.
In a post to Moonee Valley Police Service Area’s Facebook, they wrote: “now he is well and truly in the ....”.
Facebook users leaped at the blatant opportunity to poke some fun at the driver.
“And after he saw the flashing lights he needed a change of pants,” one person wrote in a comment on the post.
Another said the man was “just a poo head”.
