Oz Lotto jackpot reaches eye-watering $50 million

Oz Lotto has hit a jackpot of $50 million, the equal biggest prize the game has offered in more than eight months and the largest prize offered by any Australian lottery game so far this financial year.

During the past five draws, no entry has held the seven winning numbers in a single game panel needed to score division one, pushing the jackpot to $50 million for draw 1494 on Tuesday, October 4.

The last time the Oz Lotto jackpot hit this staggering amount was in January 2022, when the top prize was shared by a Queensland mum and a Western Australian player.
