Couple wed in Tathra after devastating bushfire disaster

A couple has tied the knot in a wedding on the Tathra headland just one week after fires devastated the town.

Sam Dawson and David Huchinson tied the knot on Saturday after six months of planning.

They decided to go through with the wedding late in the week after bushfires hit the town on March 18.

According to the NSW Rural Five Service, a fault in electrical infrastructure sparked the blaze.

That finding will be at the centre of further investigations and at the heart of a proposed class action.
