'Bugger going back to work!' Six tradie mates win $16.4 million lottery
Six Sydney tradies are celebrating after winning a massive Powerball jackpot of $16.4 million - a cool $2.73 million per syndicate member.
The tradies, all in their 20s, took away the only Division One winning entry in the Thursday night draw.
Although the winners wish to remain anonymous, NSW Lotteries confirmed they were able to deliver the news to the group's unsuspecting syndicate leader on Friday morning.
NSW Lotteries said the group had only started up their syndicate earlier this year and planned to "down tools" and soak up their winnings.
"Bugger going back to work!", the syndicate leader said, according to The Daily Telegraph.
"We're all going to quit at the same time! I'm never going to work again!"
