‘You’re a predator’: NSW ‘Pedo Hunter’ confronts alleged child sex offender

A vigilante who hunts down alleged child sex offenders has filmed his latest confrontation with a man who begged for mercy.

The Coffs Coast Pedo Hunter posed online as a 14-year-old boy and arranged to meet with a 54-year-old man from northern NSW after exchanging sexual messages online over a number of days.

But when confronted, the child sex accused broke down crying, begging for another chance.

“Please don’t... I’m disabled,” the accused says.

“Doesn’t matter mate, you know right from wrong,” the vigilante replies.

“Please don’t... I beg you. Please don’t do this,” the 54-year-old says.

The Pedo Hunter then demands to know why the man is messaging a young boy who says he’s a virgin.

“You’re not sorry... you’re only sorry you got caught,” the vigilante tells the man.

“I’ve got my mum dying... I just cant handle this at the moment,” the accused replies.

“Please... I’ve never been in trouble with the police before.”

The Pedo Hunter is filmed calling the police, reporting the message exchange and asking officers to attend the man’s home.

The alleged child sex offender tells the man he’s “never done this before” and would have sent the 14-year-old boy away if he had shown up.

The accused, who is seen shaking and crying during the video, tells the vigilante about his struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder but the Pedo Hunter refuses to accept that as an excuse.

“Where am I supposed to be?” the child sex accused asks.

“F***** in a hole... buried,” the vigilante replies.

“You’re not the first person I’ve caught and you won't be the last.

“Mate I hope you never use the internet again because you should be locked up.”

The 14-minute video ends with police officers arriving at the scene and the vigilante demanding officers search the man’s phone.

The man was arrested on December 16, but later released pending “further inquiries” according to NSW Police.
