Fatal shark attack off Byron Bay
A man has died in a shark attack at Byron Bay on the NSW north coast, paramedics have confirmed.
Officers said the man, believed to have been aged in his 30s, was dragged from the water at Main Beach, around 10.45am.
He suffered a significant injury to his leg, according to a police statement on Tuesday.

Authorities have ordered beachgoers out of the water.
Police are speaking to a number of people to try to determine the identity of the man.
