Funeral to farewell Detective Inspector Bryson Anderson

The funeral for fallen detective, Bryson Anderson, will be held in Sydney's south-west tomorrow.

The highly respected senior policeman was killed while responding to a neighbourhood dispute last week.

Anderson’s family and friends will be join members of the police force at the service at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta from 2pm.

Motorists are advised that Victoria Road will be closed between Church and O’Connell Streets from 3pm until 6pm.

The public is invited to attend tomorrow’s service to pay their respects.

The tragic death of Detective Inspector Anderson has left police officers and the community in a state of shock, with people extending their sympathies to his wife and three children sadly left behind.

The Police Association of NSW has established a memorial fund for those wishing to assist the grieving family in this difficult time.
