NRL star Josh Reynolds reveals heartbreak over loss of twin babies
NRL star Josh Reynolds has revealed he and his partner Bella’s grief after losing their twins, just eight weeks before they were due to be born.
In an interview with Channel 7, Reynolds spoke of the couple’s devastation upon hearing the news.
The Wests Tigers five-eighth, who said he was ‘over the moon’ when he found out his partner was pregnant, said it had been difficult to process the news.

“That was something in life I’ve always wanted but I’ve sort of had to go along the lines that everything happens for a reason,” Reynolds said, adding it was “the saddest thing ever”.
While still coming to terms with his own grief, Reynolds admitted it had been tough to support his similarly distraught partner.
Reynolds was determined to bring the issue to light, in the hopes it would help other people enduring the same sadness and assist them in finding a way through it.
“Who do you talk to about that sort of stuff? How do I comfort her when I’m struggling myself and because it is a lot harder for females because they go through it, growing inside them,” he said.
“I was really shocked but I really wanted to be a man and be there for her too.”
Family more important than anything
Reynolds had battled injuries throughout the early stages of the 2019 season, but his family news places his form on field in a different light.
The five-eighth was cleared of any major damage to his knee after he limped off the field against the Gold Coast on the weekend.
Scans revealed a strain in his right medial ligament, indicating he should return to the field in a matter of weeks.
