She’s been referred to as a clairvoyant and seer, and Baba Vanga has a number of predictions for 2020.
Bulgarian Baba Vanga is regarded by conspiracy theorists as a type of Nostradamus, claiming she predicted the rise of ISIS and Brexit before she died in 1996 aged 85.
While it’s important to note not all of her predictions have come to fruition, there are reports she had a number of prophecies for 2020.
According to the International Business Times, Baba Vanga predicts in 2020 a member of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s security personnel will try to kill him.
She reportedly said there will be four assassination attempts on the president.
US President Donald Trump will also fall victim to a “mysterious illness”, the prophet predicts. It’s not known how this will affect the 2020 presidential race however.
Baba Vanga reportedly claims the sickness will leave him deaf.
She also predicts Europe will be struck by a severe economic crisis but it is not known if that could be an outcome of Brexit.
The Bulgarian made a number of predictions before her death – some which actually occurred.
According to the Weiser Field Guide to the Paranormal, Baba Vanga lost her vision at age 12 and claims it led to her becoming clairvoyant.
The book claims Baba Vanga predicted the fall of the Soviet Union, the political victory of former Russian President Boris Yeltsin and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
According to the Mirror, Baba Vanga also predicted the devastating Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, which left 227,898 dead.
She also predicted in 2020 more tsunamis and earthquakes could hit Asia.
However, not all of her reported predictions have proven to be true.
Baba Vanga predicted the 1994 Fifa World Cup Final would be played between two teams starting with B, according to the New York Times.
However, the final was contested between Brazil and Italy. Bulgaria was knocked out by Italy in the semi.
She also reportedly predicted World War III would begin in 2010 but according to an article published in Swedish newspaper Metro International, friends claim she never made such a prediction.
