Shocking video shows white socialite accusing black woman of attack, calling cops on her

A socialite is being slammed for calling the police on a black woman accusing her of “playing the black card” and “attacking her”.

The footage was filmed by @_brownsugarbaby, or Janae Garcia as Page Six identified her, who was the woman subjected to the socialite’s tirade

Ms Garcia posted multiple photos of the ordeal which happened on New York’s Upper West Side on her Instagram, identifying the woman who called the police as Svitlana Flom – reportedly a socialite, according to multiple US outlets.

“From 6:15pm - 7:31pm this women, Svitlana Flom, @artdefete felt the need to not only approach me but call the cops MULTIPLE TIMES ON ME,” the Instagram caption says.

“The first call was because she THOUGHT I was smoking in public.. but by the 3rd call, it was bcuz I was ‘threatening her & her children’!

“While giving my description, she exaggerated her story & made it seem like I was the aggressor.”

“She was just like attacking me,” Ms Flom is heard saying on the phone.

“Now she’s filming me, she’s calling me a b***h, she came to me and my kids, threatening me,” Ms Flom is heard sayinh in another video, claiming she is “shaking” and she has her children with her.

In another video, Ms Flom is seen hailing down the police, when she turns back to Ms Garcia and says: “Can you walk with me to the police?”

“Can you imagine that?” Ms Garcia replies.

“Me, walk with you to the police? Can you imagine that, if bozo was a person it would be you.”

Video emerges as racial tensions reach peak

Across the US right now protests and riots have erupted following the death of black man George Floyd, who was held down by former police officer Derek Chauvin.

In a video, Chauvin is seen kneeling on Mr Floyd’s neck until he stops breathing.

Mr Floyd’s death came as Amy Cooper, a white woman, made international headlines after calling police on black man Christian Cooper, who is of no relation to her.

"I’m going to tell them there’s an African-American man threatening my life,” Ms Cooper is heard saying in the video as she calls the police.

Ms Flom, like Ms Cooper, was branded as a racist for calling the police on Ms Garcia, by people who commented on the videos.

However, Ms Flom has rejected the notion she is a racist.

‘She made me look racist,’ woman claims

Ms Flom told Page Six the whole incident started when she approached Ms Garcia and told her and a friend they were not meant to be smoking in the park, alleging Ms Garcia had no regard for Ms Flom who was pregnant and with her two children.

“She put her narrative on it to make me look like a racist,” Ms Flom told Page Six, also alleging Ms Garcia was “aggressive” and “called her a ‘b****”.

“She twisted the entire thing like she’s some poor girl sitting alone on a bench and I’m white trash, harassing her for no reason.”

Ms Flom has demanded Ms Garcia post the video in its entirety.

Maison Vivienne, a restaurant in New York is co-owned by Ms Flom, and since the videos have gone viral people are leaving negative reviews on the Facebook page.

“Flom is an outright unashamed racist who harasses random black women for *existing*,” one person said in their review.

“No one decent should ever support businesses run by ignorant, cruel individuals.”
