The Netflix tips that will change how you watch your favourite shows

A list of secret Netflix keyboard shortcuts has been revealed and it’s set to change how you watch your favourite shows on your computer.

The list will save you from having to use your mouse to toggle in and out of full screen, stop and restart play, and move between scenes with a cursor.

The list, published on Netflix.com, shows the best way to watch your shows without a mouse:

• Left Arrow – rewind 10 seconds

• Right Arrow – fast-forward 10 seconds

• Up arrow – volume up

• Down arrow – volume down

• M – mute

• Shift-Alt-Left Click – adjust the streaming bitrate (to improve or reduce the quality of the video)

• Spacebar – start play / pause

• Enter – start play / pause

• F – full screen mode

• Esc – exit full screen mode

According to The Sun, Netflix has also redesigned its controls for the mobile app. However, it’s only in the latest version.

Instead of tapping on the screen and running your finger over the search bar to fast-forward or rewind, you can now double-tap on the screen. It’s twice on the left to rewind and twice on the right to fast-forward.

You can also go full screen using the touchscreen too. All you have to do is make a pinching-out motion.
