Millionaire doesn't know they've won $1 million jackpot a month on

The hunt is on for the winner of a $1 million lottery prize who is yet to claim their winnings.

The new mystery millionaire purchased their tickets in Victoria’s Gippsland region at Plaza Lotto at Stocklands Traralgon shopping centre.

Since the ticket is not registered, no one has been able to find the winner a month on from the TattsLotto draw on October 26.

The division one prize was $1,007,593.45 and Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said the winnings could change a person’s life ahead of the holidays.

“Instead of spending the festive season in the heat you could be heading overseas for a white Christmas,” Ms Spencer said.

“Winners have told us that they have found their winning entries hiding in plain sight from the fridge door to their wallet.

“So if you purchased a TattsLotto entry at Plaza Lotto that you haven’t checked yet, make sure you check them because you could be the newly-minted millionaire we are searching for.”

The winning numbers were 31, 28, 7, 45, 29 and 2, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 38.
