McDonald's customer in tears after nuggets replaced by something VERY different
A McDonald's customer was not lovin' it after making a shocking discovery inside her chicken nuggets order.
The US woman was left in tears after opening her box of Chicken McNuggets to find it was missing a key ingredient... chicken nuggets.
Instead, the disappointed customer found a single fried egg inside the McNuggets box.
The shocking find seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back for the young woman, who was brought to tears by the Macca's mix-up.
"I'm having a terrible day, so I got McDonald's before I went to work," said the young woman in a video posted to TikTok.
In the clip, the distraught woman reveals how McDonald's staff messed up the order of both her cheeseburger and chicken nuggets.
"I got a burger. They forgot to put a patty on it and you know what, that's fine, I got nuggets so I'll just eat nuggets. Maybe I didn't need the burger?" she says, while opening her cheeseburger to reveal two sad buns filled with cheese, sauce and onions.
'Why?'
"So I go to open the nuggets... it's an egg. Why?" she asks.
Opening the McNuggets box, sure enough, there's a single fried egg sitting in the box.
"Why is there an egg in here? Breakfast has been over for two hours," she says.
The defeated customer lamented that she just wanted a McDonald's meal before heading into work.
"I just wanted a meal before I go into work, and I'm very upset," she sniffles.

The woman's video, captioned "McDonald’s, I just want to talk", has amassed over 1.7 million views and 285,800 likes from TikTok users.
Thousands of users flooded the comments, with many looking on the sunny side up of the situation and making light of the woman's plight.
"They realllllly undercooked the chicken," commented one user.
Others joked that the customer finally solved the debate over which came first – the chicken or the egg.
"Well I guess that solves it then, the egg came first," joked one woman.
McDonald's provides refund
In a follow-up video, the Macca's customer admitted she was shocked and slightly embarrassed that thousands of people had seen her crying on the internet "over an egg".
She also said she returned to the McDonald's restaurant in question and was given a refund - after the cashier laughed at the incident - but she was still in the dark about how her order was so badly messed up.
"I'm not sure if it was genuinely a messed up order and I got someone else's order or if it was a prank," she said, before adding that she ended up getting a meal from fast food outlet Chick-fil-A instead.

Meanwhile other TikTok users shared some of their own stories about times Macca's staff got their order horribly wrong.
"One time I got a cheeseburger with the receipt inside and cheese melted on top of it," shared one woman.
"My cousin ordered nuggets once and got a box full of tartar sauce," commented another.
Others customers claimed to have received a stale cinnamon roll instead of a Big Mac, a sausage patty in place of nuggets and a McNuggets box full of Big Mac sauce.
