Man found dead in car at Melbourne shopping centre

A man has been found dead in a shopping centre car park in Melbourne's western suburbs.

The 40-year-old man's body was found inside a car at a Deer Park shopping centre car park on about 5.30pm on Friday.

A second man, 47, was also inside the car and taken to hospital for treatment.

Homicide detectives are investigating and say the cause of death is yet to be determined.
