January Jones, 43, dons iconic eye-popping dress 10 years later

We may have missed out on a real deal red carpet at this year's Golden Globes, but January Jones kept fans thrilled with a red carpet blast from the past.

Before the remote broadcast of the 78th Golden Globes hit screens, the Mad Men actress hit Instagram in the iconic red gown she first wore at the event back in 2011, one decade ago today.

10 years may have passed but the mum of one looked incredible as ever in the form-fitting number that features a plunging neckline cinched waist and bold scarlet hue.

The Versace gown was worn back when January was playing Betty Draper in Mad Men, the show that won her two Golden Globe nominations in its six-year run.

This year the actress donned the gown once again, though this time she is just enjoying the fun rather than standing for a win.

"10 years later and it still (sorta) fits," the star captioned her post of the two gowns worn ten years apart at the 68th and 78th awards.

In her stories she shared more glimpses of the gown, writing: "Squeezed into this beauty today. 10 years ago Versace made my dream dress for the Golden Globe Awards."

The stunning gown looked almost identical on the almost identical star who playfully shared a snap of herself in the look holding a doughnut joking that she 'also had a child' in the interim between pics.

Fans were left gobsmacked by the post, not only over the star's ageless looks and figure, but over the amount of time that has whizzed past since she first wore the gown.
