In this week's Late Late Show, Corden mocked the Oscars controversy which saw Will Smith get up on stage and slap comedian Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's alopecia.

Smith, who went on to be named Best Actor at the awards, then shouted at Rock from the audience to "keep my wife's name out your f***ing mouth".

Corden turned to his musical performance roots to poke fun at the situation in a skit that saw the programme's team discussing how to cover the Oscars.

He said: "We don't talk about Jada. No, no, no," before breaking into song and changing the lyrics to We Don't Talk About Bruno from the Best Animated Film winner Encanto.
