Ms Breaux told ABC13 she and Ms Sharkey went to Texas together recently, where the influencer confided in Ms Breaux and admitted she was worried for her safety.

“We were sitting down at dinner and she lost it,” Ms Breaux told the news station.

“We walked back to our hotel room and she confided in me that night in things. I looked at her [and thought], 'She's petrified. This girl is scared for her life’.”

The friends would not disclose who Ms Sharkey was scared of.

Husband speaks out about death threats

Ms Sharkey’s husband Tom Sharkey also spoke to ABC13, rebuking allegations she was unhappy in the marriage and said since her death, he has received death threats.

There have been allegations Ms Sharkey and her husband were going through a divorce and that he was physically violent with her, according to The Daily Beast.

Speaking to ABC13, Mr Sharkey asserted his wife was not happy and was stressed, but he would comfort her.

“I would cuddle her to try to make her strong. She was an amazing woman,” he told ABC13.

“There's always other sides to everything. I was the one holding her, cuddling her and building her back up.

“I don't need to set the record straight. I'll let it play out the way it is. I know what my life was with my wife.”
