A shocking video has captured the electrifying moment moment lightning strikes the same lamppost at least 11 times in quick succession.
The incident was filmed during a thunderstorm in the city of Qingdao, in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong, by a resident.
In the footage, the resident films the gloomy scene outside their apartment before a streak of lightning is seen zapping a street light.
With accompanying thunder, the street light is seen being zapped by a series of lightning strikes.
At the end of the clip, the resident, who appears frightened by the scene, moves away from the window and stops filming just as an 11th bolt of lightning zaps the pole.

A man known as Mr Qu said the video was filmed by his friend while he was at work before sharing it later on social media.
Internet users weighed in on the dramatic clip, with Douyin user 'Tang Lie Tang Tang' saying: “That street light is so unlucky!”
"The guy was scared? I am scared!" 'Jinghai Wenbo' wrote.
Another social media user known as 'F' said: "Pole: 'I am out of power, I'll go out if I don't charge up today."
