Guy Sebastian started out as the bro with the fro.

Now he's heading to Vienna to be Australia's first representative at Eurovision.

The inaugural winner of Australian Idol is by far the most successful of any Australian singing reality show contestant.

He's accumulated 51 platinum and seven gold records since he winning the talent quest series.

  • Born in Selangor, Malaysia, in 1981

  • 11 top ten singles, including Battle Scars which went eight times platinum
