Police were called to Noarlunga Centre at 4.40pm on Monday after a body was found in an air duct in a toilet block, the body was then identified to be Mr Bartlett, according to South Australia Police.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.

It is unclear why Mr Bartlett’s body was in the air duct, however at this time, police are not treating the 23-year-old’s death as suspicious.

“I don’t think he was trying to break in, I think he was hiding,” Troy Wiseman, Mr Bartlett’s grief-stricken stepfather told Nine News.

“I’m not entirely sure [why he was in the air-duct].

“The police are doing their investigation to find out why he was there.”
