Unbelievable footage shows a mother injecting heroin in an alleyway with a man, while her son plays on a mobile phone nearby.
Lauren Story, 29, was arrested after the shocking CCTV footage surfaced. She is believed to be the woman shooting up with a man near a court house in Cincinnati, US.
The woman in the clip can be seen handing a mobile phone to the boy, believed to be four years old, to keep him entertained while the pair inject in broad daylight.
Story appeared in court on Friday, charged with endangering a child, as well as two drugs offences, WLWT5 reported.
Onlookers can be seen walking past as the adults squat down in the alley, while the little boy is propped up against a wall.
About a 90 seconds into the video, the man and woman can be seen standing up and walking away, leaving the boy to chase them.
Dave Wood, of the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, told the court: “People have sympathy for people who use heroin but that sympathy ends when you’re doing it in front of your children."

Police told the court the video was evidence enough to identify Story, saying she was carrying four syringes and a tourniquet when stopped, however, no drugs were found.
The mother denied the charges and was held on a $21,000 bond.
Judge Tyrone Yates said she could be released on the condition she seek treatment for drug abuse.
The little boy has been placed into the care of a relative and his mother has been ordered to have no unapproved access to the child.
The man with Story in the video was also arrested, however police have not released his name, and his relationship to the boy’s mother is not known.
