Chilling doorbell cam footage shows kidnapper driving off with young girl

Shocking footage captured from a tiny doorbell camera has shown the moment a mother fell from a vehicle driving away with her abducted daughter inside.

In a brazen daylight kidnapping, eight-year-old Salem Sabatka was snatched while out walking with her mother in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday evening, local time.

Fort Worth police issued an amber alert after being contacted by the distressed parent. Police released a photo of the girl and a description of the vehicle, news site KSAT12 reported.

Following a tip-off by a neighbour, the girl was found inside the city’s WoodSpring Suites hotel in Fort Worth on Sunday morning, with 51-year-old Michael Webb.

Police said the girl was taken to the local hospital and appeared to be in good health.

The man and child were not believed to be related and police had not shared what they thought motivated the abduction.

Alarming video of the drive-by kidnapping showed the mother falling to the bitumen while a grey sedan drove away.

The mum had fought with the male kidnapper, grabbing a piece of his jewellery as he drove off.
