'Goodnight baby': Woman reports sleazy texts from food delivery driver
A woman says she was disgusted when a food delivery driver allegedly propositioned her by text and the company showed little regard for the incident.
British mum Michelle Midwinter outed food service JustEat on Twitter after she was more than disappointed in the response she received from the company when she brought the issue to their attention.
After having food dropped to her home she received the late night message from an unknown number.
"Who is this?" the woman asks in the message.
The driver allegedly said he was a "fan" before revealing he was the man who delivered Ms Midwinter's meal, screenshots show.

He then sent a message saying "If you have a BF tell me I don't want to cause any problems" before saying "goodnight baby, see you next time I deliver your meal" with a kiss emoji.
Ms Midwinter took it up with the company but was told they didn't have a complaints department. Instead, they offered her $8 credit for the "inconvenience".
"It's not an inconvenience, it's absolutely outrageous and disgusting behaviour," Ms Midwinter responded.
Just a snippet of Just Eat’s response to my receiving unsolicited messages from the guy who had just delivered my food. Nice one Just Eat! Apart from him using my number in this way surely being in breach of privacy laws etc, they don’t really seem to take it seriously do they?? pic.twitter.com/OVZkl0IW5f

She was then told "we don't normally do this" and was offered an $16 voucher.
Horrified, Ms Midwinter posted screen grabs of the messages on Twitter and her post has now attracted more than 24,000 likes and 10,000 retweets.
Other women reacted to her comments telling of their own similar situations.
Same thing happened to me and they just said to me ”what would you like us to do?” It’s ridiculous!!

This happened to me with a supermarket delivery boy a few years ago. It's very stalky.

I stopped ordering delivery after a similar experience (delivery guy turned up w chocolates - totally unencouraged). Saved me money (good), left me feeling creeped out & unsafe (obvs not good)

Ms Midwinter later tweeted that the Managing Director of JustEat called her and the two had "a very long chat about the situation".
"They are indeed accepting responsibility and are deeply apologetic about the way this was initially handled and it has 'shaken them to the core,' she wrote.
