Bali scooter victim speaks out after Aussie's alleged drunken rampage
A Indonesian chef who was fly-kicked off his bike, allegedly by a South Australian man during an intoxicated rampage, said he asked police to drop the charges.
Adelaide’s Nicholas Carr, 26, is accused of knocking Wayan Wirawan off his bike during a drunken rampage caught on camera in Bali in August.
Carr threw himself in front of oncoming traffic and also allegedly assaulted a resident in his home.
But Mr Wayan recently told Nine News he’s asked police to drop charges against Carr.
The chef told Nine News that Carr’s family purchased him a new scooter and new glasses worth a total value of $4500.
Mr Wayan told News Corp last week that he had accepted a “peace agreement” from Carr.

However, police are still pursuing the charges and Mr Wiraman was set to give evidence in court on Monday.
Meanwhile, Carr remains in Bali’s notorious Kerobokan Prison.
