Aussie mum killed in horrific car crash: 'Still in shock'
The 51-year-old was returning home from a night out with friends when the car she was in collided with another.
A night out with friends turned tragic for an Australian mum-of-two who died in a car crash that seriously injured five other passengers on Saturday morning.
Georgina Heath, 51, was travelling home from a friend's birthday party in Adelaide with her partner, 30, and two friends just after 12.30am when the SUV she was a passenger in collided with another vehicle, killing her at the scene.
Police and emergency crews were called to Main South Road in Hackham, south of the city, after a Mitsubishi sedan and the Hyundai SUV crashed near Melsetter Road.
The 35-year-old female driver of the SUV and two passengers — a 28-year-old woman and Ms Heath's partner — were all taken to Flinders Medical Centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries, South Australia police said.

The Mitsubishi was being driven by a 17-year-old, police said, who was taken to Flinders Medical Centre with serious injuries, along with his male passenger, also 17.

According to reports, Ms Heath and her group were travelling home from a night at Mick O'Shea's Irish Pub, with shocked patrons hearing the nearby crash. One witness told The Advertiser the Mitsubishi drove into the SUV's driver's side before pushing the car across four lanes of traffic and into nearby scrubland.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Under state law, stage 1 P-plate drivers under 25 are banned from driving between midnight and 5am.
Family 'in shock' over mum's death
In a social media post on Saturday, one of Ms Heath's daughters paid tribute to her mum. "Rip mum. Don’t speed. Don’t drink and drive. Don’t be an idiot. Taken too soon. Still in shock," she wrote.
The post was inundated with tributes from friends and family who expressed their grief following the 51-year-old's death. "So sorry for you girls, your beautiful mum, our wonderful friend taken in such a senseless way. We loved her so much," one person wrote. "This is very sad...I am so devastated," another added.
Others described Ms Heath as a "beautiful lady" who was "taken too soon". "She was so gorgeous and happy. My heart goes out to you all. In such shock and disbelief," someone said.
The woman’s death is the 34th life lost on South Australian roads this year, compared to 16 for the same time last year.
