Mikel Arteta's Arsenal squad were busy with more contact training on Monday as the Gunners gear up for the Premier League's return.

Arsenal are provisionally scheduled to be one of the first top-flight teams back in action, with a match at Manchester City scheduled for Wednesday, June 17.

That means time is of the essence for Arteta to get his squad back to full fitness ahead of what could be a gruelling tests against Pep Guardiola's champions.

The good news for Arteta is that he will have a near fully-fit squad to choose from in two weeks' time, with Lucas Torreira and Calum Chambers back in training at London Colney following injury spells.

While those two are unlikely to be available for the trip to Manchester due to how much time they have been out for, the rest of Arteta's squad look raring to go judging by the latest pictures from training.

The Gunners were enjoying the sunshine at London Colney on Monday, with players once again involved in contact training as the Premier League's Project Restart gathers pace.

Trae Coyle was included in first-team training again, with the 19-year-old likely to be an option for Arteta during the run-in by the looks of things.
