Autopsy needed to confirm cause of death of Perth tourist in Bali

Indonesian police say an autopsy will be needed to confirm what caused a Perth tourist's fatal heart attack.

Father of three Clinton Dally had only been in Bali one day when he told hotel staff he was feeling ill and had a headache.

The 36 year old was found unconscious, with Panadol on the bedside table.

His partner asked hotel staff to call a doctor after he fell unconscious but Mr Dally was declared dead shortly after they arrived.

Mr Dally was found dead in his room at Matahari Bungalow in Kuta on Saturday, with a local doctor suggesting he suffered a heart attack.

It’s understood he had taken Panadol after complaining of a headache following a few drinks by the pool with his partner.

The following day the pair went shopping at Kuta Art Market but when Mr Dally began to experience stomach pains he returned to the hotel room.

Indonesian police say they are not not looking for any suspects but do want to hear from any witnesses who spoke to Mr Dally before he died.
