A man has drowned at a beach southeast of Melbourne.
Victoria Police said the man was seen face down in the water at a beach in Rye on Point Nepean Road shortly after 2pm.
The man, who is yet to be identified, was pulled from the water but couldn’t be saved.
Police will now prepare a report for the Coroner.
