Mum's heartbreaking tribute to baby daughter allegedly killed by abusive boyfriend
A devastated mother has posted a tribute to her little girl who died after she was alleged beaten up by the woman’s boyfriend.
Arizona woman Brianna Williams’s three-year-old daughter Morgan Koepp was taken off life support on Wednesday having suffered multiple injuries and two cardiac arrests.
Ms Williams paid tribute to her “beautiful baby girl” on a GoFundMe page, writing of how she taught her “so much in these last three years”.
“I saw you fighting and fighting as hard as you could,” she wrote.
“I saw how much pain you were in and I am so sorry you had to endure such a tragedy. It breaks my heart and to see you laying there fighting so hard for mommy shows me how much you tried and how much you love me.”
Ms Williams wrote that she hates she will now never see Morgan grow up.
“But I am able to keep going because I know you are now resting in a better place, pain free able to run and play with the rest of the angels including your Great Uncle Tom, Great Great Grandma and many others,” she wrote.
“I know I can always find you in my heart and when I close my eyes. Watch over me and give god a hug for me for bringing you home so you aren’t suffering anymore. I love you Morgan Faith Koepp.”
Morgan’s grandfather Tim Williams said the three-year-old went into cardiac arrest twice before she died, and suffered a “necrotising soft tissue infection”, which opened up after she “got punched or hit”.
The little girl’s death is now the focus of a court case.
Police arrested Ms Williams’s partner Sidney Michael Landers, 33, on suspicion of child abuse on Monday morning, CBS reports.
According to Ms Williams, Mr Landers was out with Morgan “for the majority of the day” on Sunday.

When Morgan returned home, the mum noticed swelling near her mouth and cheek.
The little girl was taken to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where staff found “multiple bruises on the front and back of her torso” and “multiple broken ribs”.
According to court documents, Mr Landers told police he was “frustrated” because the child “had several accidents in her pants and would not sit still when he cleaned her”.
The arresting officer wrote in his report that Mr Landers stated, “he held his hand over the victim’s mouth when she was screaming during her diaper change”.
“The defendant stated he had to use force to hold the victim to change her diaper,” the report reads.
“The defendant stated he did not mean to cause the injuries but was frustrated.”
Phoenix Police Department Sergeant Vince Lewis said the police will be recommending homicide charges against Mr Landers following the girl’s death.
He is due back in court on December 18 for a status conference and then a preliminary hearing on December 21.
